Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

The short version: PhoGone collects nothing. It works entirely on your device, has no account, no servers, no analytics and no ads, and your photos never leave your phone.

Who we are

PhoGone is made by Serophin ("we"). This policy covers the PhoGone app for iPhone and iPad and this website, phogone.app.

Your photos and videos

PhoGone asks for access to your photo library so it can find the photos and videos you might want to delete, show them to you and delete the ones you choose. All of this happens on your device. Your photos, videos and their details (such as sizes, dates and albums) are never uploaded, copied or sent anywhere, and we never see them.

When you delete something with PhoGone, iOS moves it to the Recently Deleted album of the Photos app, where it stays for about 30 days and can be recovered before iOS removes it for good.

What stays on your device

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes its storage; the free delete count stays in your Keychain.

What we collect

Nothing. PhoGone has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting of its own, no advertising and no third-party tracking code, and it does not connect to any server of ours. On the App Store this appears as "Data Not Collected".

If you have chosen to share analytics and crash data with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage figures with us. Apple controls that setting and that data; see Apple's privacy policy.

Purchases

The lifetime unlock is an in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details; the app only learns from Apple whether the unlock has been bought, so it can lift the delete limit.

This website

phogone.app is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or trackers, and its fonts and images are served from this site. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use that data to identify or follow visitors.

If you contact us

If you write to us through our contact page, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you, and keep them only as long as that takes.

Children

PhoGone is suitable for everyone and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
