The short version: PhoGone deletes only what you choose, deleted items wait in Recently Deleted for about 30 days, and the lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase handled by Apple.

Agreement

These terms apply to the PhoGone app for iPhone and iPad and to this website, both made by Serophin ("we"). By using them you agree to these terms. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where the two differ, Apple's agreement applies to the app.

Deleting photos and videos

PhoGone suggests photos and videos you might delete, but it deletes only the items you pick and confirm. You are responsible for what you choose to delete. iOS moves deleted items to the Recently Deleted album, where they can be recovered for about 30 days; after that, or if you empty that album, they are gone for good, and neither we nor PhoGone can bring them back. Please keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Sizes and the space PhoGone says you can free are estimates; the exact space returned is decided by iOS and can differ, for example when iCloud Photos keeps optimized copies on the device.

Free deletes and the lifetime unlock

The app includes 100 free deletes. The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes the limit for the Apple ID that bought it, with no subscription. It is sold and billed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can restore the purchase on your other devices from the app's settings.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the app or this site, for example by trying to get around the free delete limit, reverse engineering the app where the law does not allow it, or using either for anything unlawful.

Our content

The PhoGone name, icon, app and the content of this site belong to Serophin. You may link to this site, but please do not copy its content or branding without our permission.

No warranty

The app and this site are provided "as is". We work to keep them reliable, but we do not promise that they will always be available, free of errors or suited to a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Serophin is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or being unable to use, the app or this site, including the loss of photos or videos you chose to delete. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.

Privacy

PhoGone collects no data; the details are in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the app or this site after a change means you accept it.
